My work is rooted in an African proverb that continues to guide everything I create:

"Until the lion learns to write, the hunter will always tell the story."

That's why I created the L.Y.O.N. philosophy.

THE L.Y.O.N. PHILOSOPHY

L.Y.O.N. stands for Lift Yourself Over Negativity.

More than an acronym, it is a philosophy rooted in the belief that changing our language can change our lives.

My first book, Think Like a L.Y.O.N. (Lift Yourself Over Negativity), is a poetry collection and creative writing practice designed to help readers reframe the stories that no longer serve them, reclaim the glory they have always carried, and retain the authority to write what comes next.

It is the first book in a larger body of work exploring storytelling, literacy, identity, and transformation.
